PAYE and CIS Payroll Administrator with previous experience in a similar role processing payroll and CIS payments, good attention to detail and proficiency with MS Office, Word and Excel is required for a well-established construction company based in Slough, Berkshire.


SALARY:
£30,000 - £35,000 per annum

JOB OVERVIEW


We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a PAYE and CIS Payroll Administrator with previous experience in a similar role processing payroll and CIS payments, good attention to detail and proficiency with MS Office, Word and Excel.

Working as the PAYE and CIS Payroll Administrator you will take responsibility for payroll and sub-contractor payments.

The PAYE and CIS Payroll Administrator will also help with general administration duties when necessary.

DUTIES
Your duties as PAYE and CIS Payroll Administrator will include:
Processing fortnightly/monthly payroll from start to finish for approximately 20 employees on Sage Payroll package, including:
Processing of autoenrollment pension deductions

Statutory filing with HMRC and other regulated bodies

Operating fortnightly CIS pay run for approximately 200 sub-contractors, including:
Entering invoices on Sage Construct (training will be provided on Sage Construct)

Making bacs payments

Dealing with relevant queries

Filing monthly returns with HMRC

Assisting with general admin duties as deemed necessary by the management


CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Previous experience in a similar role

Excellent knowledge of Payroll and CIS processing

Knowledge of auto-enrolment pension scheme operation

Good knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation relating to payroll, CIS, pensions etc.

Proficiency with MS Office (Word and Excel)

Attention to detail

Ability to work under pressure independently and to meet deadlines

Good team player

Knowledge of Sage Accounts advantageous - training will be provided on Sage Construct
