    Description

    This is an exciting new role at Bath Spa University London , focusing on relationship building, quality assurance and employability. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing networks and managing connections with employers and other academic partners. They will be a key point of contact as regards quality assurance and be willing to work across departments and streamline the assessment and marking and progression process.

    About the Role

    In this role, you will focus on improving recruitment, retention, and the employability of our students. Your responsibilities will include developing strategies aligned with widening access, maintaining quality assurance standards, and meeting regulatory requirements such as B3 conditions, NSS surveys, and GOS results. Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in fostering partnerships and industry connections, collaborating closely with our Student Recruitment, Attendance teams, Marketing, and Careers service. Your leadership will extend to providing academic guidance and development for colleagues involved in course delivery at BSUL. With your strong management skills, you will also oversee designated academic staff, ensuring their recruitment, probation, performance, and development are effectively managed. Moreover, you will actively identify opportunities for the strategic expansion of new courses and areas of activity.

    About You

    We are looking for someone with the following:

    • Effective leadership and management skills
    • Excellent interpersonal, networking and communication skills
    • Ability to combine strategic thinking and operational management
    • A proven track record of design and / or delivery of courses.
    • Experience in delivering educational projects associated with external partners such as businesses employers and/or governing bodies.

    Additional Information

    Grade Ac4S - GBP 56,021 - GBP 59,421 per annum
