Monday - Friday
Our client, a leading automotive and supplier, are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager.
You will oversee and optimise all aspects of the supply chain process within the business, including managing the flow of goods, services, and information from the point of origin, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, stock accuracy and customer satisfaction.
You will collaborate with departments, suppliers, and logistics partners to develop and implement strategies that enhance the overall supply chain performance.

Reporting to the Managing Director and indirectly to the Global Supply Chain Manager, you will develop and implement supply chain strategies critical for business needs.
Analyse current supply chain processes, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies to optimise efficiency, reduce costs and enhance customer satisfaction.
Manage an experienced team of Material Planners, Production Planners and a Warehouse ManagerEstablish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, monitor supplier performance, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
Inventory management:
Oversee inventory levels, monitor stock movements, and implement inventory control measures to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to forecast demand, plan production schedules, and ensure adequate inventory levels to meet customer demands.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), analyse data, and implement process improvements to enhance supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.
Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to the supply chain team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field
Experience in managing complex supply chains and a high volume of production
Proven experience in supply chain management, preferably in a managerial role
Working Knowledge of Information Systems (SAP, Microsoft Dynamics AX), and Microsoft Suite
Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, practices, and industry trends
Experience working in Automotive Manufacturing, within a Supply Chain capacity.
Proficiency in using supply chain management software and tools.
