- Create detailed and accurate architectural CAD drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction details, based on provided design concepts and specifications.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders to understand design requirements and project objectives.
- Utilise CAD software (Autodesk Inventor) proficiently to develop and modify architectural drawings.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry standards in all CAD designs.
- Review and check architectural drawings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project requirements.
- Coordinate with project team members to ensure seamless integration and coordination of architectural designs with other disciplines.
- Assist in resolving design issues or coordination conflicts through effective communication and problem-solving.
- Stay updated on the latest CAD software advancements and industry best practices to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working as an Architectural CAD Technician.
- Must possess excellent 3D CAD modeling skills – using Autodesk Inventor.
- Proficiency in reading construction/manufacturing drawings.
- Strong understanding of architectural principles, building codes, and regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in producing CAD drawings.
- Ability to interpret and translate design concepts into detailed construction documents.
- Good communication and collaboration skills to effectively work as part of a project team.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A basic understanding of construction methods and materials is preferred.
