    NHS North Of England Commissioning Support Unit

    The Digital Transformation and Optimisation (DTOS) Training Team is responsible for the training andoptimisation of clinical IT/patient record systems across a number of care settings, in various locationsacross England.

    These include TPP SystmOne and EMIS Web in GP practices, prisons, hospices and secondary care,and other bespoke products including national applications build and deployed on the new nationalFederated Data Platform.

    The Training Lead will work as part of a team of IT Trainers and Systems Specialists to develop anddeliver effective support and training services specifically to oversee the delivery and implementationof TPP SystmOne into a hospice located in Sheffield.

    To provide an excellent systems training service tostaff across the NECS customer areas and constituent GP Practices whereapplicable.
    To takethe lead in the day to day activities of the training team
    Toprovide specialist advice on a range of Informatics training issues andco-ordinate the Training Teams activities.

    The Digital Transformation and Optimisation (DTOS) Training Team is responsible for the training andoptimisation of clinical IT/patient record systems across a number of care settings, in various locationsacross England.

    The Training Lead will work as part of a team of IT Trainers and Systems Specialists to develop anddeliver effective support and training services specifically to oversee the delivery and implementationof TPP SystmOne into a hospice located in Sheffield.

    LOCATION / BASEThis post is agile, but will require frequent visits to the hospice in question.
    The post holder will be a TPP-accredited Trainer, providing effective and high-quality trainingsolutions in SystmOne Palliative module.
    The post holder will be expected to work autonomously within geographical areas and leadindependently on developing and delivering training packages, which meet Individual customerrequirements
    Demonstrate and evaluate clinical system configuration options to the customer and their seniorstakeholders.

    Agree a final configuration (and accompanying ways of working) and ensure this is mirrored inboth the end user training and live unit at go-live.

    Ensure that routine data collection is optimised from a patient's and clinician's perspective andthat the subsequent data extraction and reporting meets the organisation's requirements.

    To evaluate Training Needs Analysis data and design courses to meet requirements
    Develop high quality training plans and complex training materials in response to servicerequirements.

    To deliver specialist SystmOne training using a variety of methods such as classroom, remotetelephone or computer, e-Learning.
    Design, review and develop effective training guides to support training delivery, ensuring thatexisting training guides are kept up to date to support latest software versions and are customisedto support customer business needs
    Support with the maintenance of the eLearning platform and the creation of internal staff and enduser login accounts
    On-going support for learners at all stages in the training cycle and to identify tailored trainingpackages where appropriate

    Undertake review, monitoring and evaluation of training activities and feedback forms to ensurethat business needs are being delivered and met.

    Support the creation of SystmOne clinical templates and reports through the design and buildphase, including system configuration in preparation for training, deployment and go live

    Deliver routine and formal presentations to individuals and groups during kick off meetings,including SystmOne demonstrations or trainingOther ad-hoc duties required to meet the needs of the service.

    Evidence of relevant continuing professional development
    Relevant training in network and server technologies
    Significant experience in customer facing operational management role in a complex
    Experience of quality improvement through training delivery and data analysis.
    Specialist knowledge of training methodologies such as TAP.
    Experience of using Microsoft Office at Expert level.
    Proven ability to implement training needs analysis and curriculum development.
    Experience in an ICT training environment.
    Significant experience of developing and delivering training programmes using
