This apprenticeship offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience while studying, setting you on a path towards a successful career in IT support.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOINGDuring your apprenticeship, you will:
Provide first-line IT support to nurseries and central support colleagues via the IT helpdesk.
Support the company's operational IT infrastructure under the guidance of the ICT Director and senior IT technician.
Ensure nurseries have reliable Wi-Fi and communications, resolving any issues promptly.
Maintain records of IT support requests and activities.
Assist in routine network maintenance tasks and hardware/software installations.
Collaborate with project stakeholders to deliver IT projects efficiently.
Adhere to health and safety policies related to IT equipment usage.
Uphold confidentiality and data protection standards in all tasks.
HOW YOU'LL SUCCEED – WHAT DOES SUCCESS LOOK LIKE?Manage helpdesk tickets efficiently, meeting internal SLAs.
Build positive relationships with end users and suppliers.
Maintain a well-functioning IT infrastructure across the business.
Deliver projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
Stay informed about IT best practices and suggest improvements.
