    Summary

    Operations Technology is responsible for implementing, maintaining and supporting effective and efficient information technology solutions for ICBC Standard Bank PLC (ICBCS). Operations IT personnel use a combined in-house / outsourced approach to deliver and maintain critical systems used by the Global Markets business. It comprises of a Run-the-Bank (RTB) team that specializes in production maintenance and a Change-the-Bank (CTB) team that specializes in project implementations.

    Job Purpose

    The role is with in the Operations IT team which manages .Net applications for settlements, confirmations and Transaction Reporting applications.
    The immediate need for this role is in Transaction reporting division. The aim of the role is to provide solution design for CFTC & EMIR Re Write projects. The candidate will be expected to form part of the CTB team and will work closely with developers and number of in-house service providers, business users and stakeholders to design, describe, and manage the solution engineering for TRS and other DRP applications.
    The successful candidate will be a delivery focused and technically acute with front to back system in scope for a regulatory reporting programme. Transaction reporting knowledge is necessary with a high focus on the regulatory reporting tool and integration with external Trade Repositories.
    Once the project is complete, the candidate will then be expected to move to RTB and be the application owner and provide technology refresh and own the technology roadmap.

    Key Responsibilities
    - Contribute to the effective management of risks and issues associated with Solution designs
    - Technology refresh for ( DRP )
    - Update the Architecture repository maintaining impacted components, relationships and attributes in the WIKI
    - Solution design for CFTC, EMIR Re Write
    - End of Life of the application
    - Closely interacting with development teams, related and enterprise/software architects
    - Present in the design forum (ATDAB) and to RTB
    - Code Review , make sure the code adhere to the design
    - Closely interacting with development teams, related and enterprise/software architects

    Long Term Responsibilities
    - Manage the DRP Governance Forum and provide guidance in making decisions
    - Mange the system prioritization meetings and stakeholder engagement
    - Work on the end of Life of the application
    - Knowing relevant historical context and future impact; understanding how current work fits in broader contexts and strategies; and looking for deeper underlying problems and opportunities
    - Release management of the application
    - Develop infrastructure and design technology roadmaps to set out where and how new technology will be deployed
    - Be responsible for solution deign for all the DRP applications
    - RTB System owner of all the DRP applications and provide run the bank support

    Preferred Qualifications and Experience
    - Intensive knowledge of system design and software engineering
    - Previous experience of Derivatives Reform - EMIR, MAS, Dodd-Frank, MiFID2/R or SFTR
    - Good understanding of Trade and Transaction reporting
    - Extensive Investment Banking experience
    - Understanding of risk and control
    - Experience in test/regression automation
    - Finance / budget management
    - Knowledge of emerging markets
    - IT skills
