    Description

    Infrastructure Manager

    Great chance for an Infrastructure Manager to become part of the established team of our valued clients. The selected candidate will be in charge of overseeing all technical aspects of our clients' infrastructure estate, including co-lo and cloud services like AWS (EC2, RDS, and Kubernetes). The Infrastructure Manager will also be responsible for information security management. To excel in this role, you must have experience with open-source technologies and solid background in managing data centers and cloud services (preferably AWS). The successful Infrastructure Manager should feel at ease working in a dynamic environment, managing the infrastructure for a system with hundreds of thousands of end users.

    This role will be hands-on and is ideal for someone with 1-2 years of management experience or someone seeking to step up into a managerial position. The position will involve overseeing 2 direct reports.

    This is a fully remote position, with occasional company meetings in the Hampshire area.

    Required Skills:

    • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Infrastructure/DevOps within a software product company
    • Experience in managing risks related to data assets
    • Proficiency in using configuration management systems, specifically puppet
    • Solid understanding and experience in maintaining Linux (RHEL) operating systems
    • Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional growth
    • Results-oriented with strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Thorough understanding of TCP, HTTP, Networking, and security protocols

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Supervise the maintenance and technical operations of computing environments to ensure availability, integrity, and confidentiality of data assets and services
    • Manage a team of infrastructure/DevOps engineers
    • Explore new technologies to enhance service delivery continuously
    • Lead and enhance risk management processes
