    SEND Teaching Assistants needed in SEND Schools Across Coventry & Warwickshire

    Do you have experience working with young people with additional needs?


    Twenty4Seven Education are looking for eager and experienced SEND teaching assistants to join the team in order to help cover SEND schools across Coventry and Warwickshire on an emergency/short term basis, possibly moving into long term roles.


    They are usually smaller sites who pride themselves in creating a trustworthy, motivating and nurturing atmosphere where every pupil is encouraged and inspired to achieve their potential and develop a love of learning.


    As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will be part of a small team assisting the class teacher in delivering lessons to students, as well as providing support outside of the classrooms, while students are in school.

    Your roles will include, 1:1 work, work in small groups, monitoring the school during lunches and breaks etc.

    Experience in working with special needs (ASC, MLD, SEMH)


    • Minimum 6 months' experience working with children and young people
    • QTS is essential (does not have to be in Maths but experience teaching Maths is essential also).
    • Experience of using communication aids such as British Sign Language, Makaton or PECS is advantageous but not essential.
    • Will be kind, caring and patient when dealing with children who require specialist support.
