    An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer with key skills in Office 365, Microsoft Environments, and Azure, where you will apply expertise in the Microsoft 365 platform and cloud tech.

    Our client is a leading renewable energy projects investor, owner, operator, and developer based in Edinburgh. Specialising in wind and solar power projects, they aim to contribute to the transition towards a low-carbon future.

    Job Purpose:

    As a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer, you'll oversee Infrastructure Operation & Support, focusing on IT project delivery and support providing desktop and mobile support when required. Your expertise in Microsoft 365, Azure, and cloud tech will be vital.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Subject matter expert in the Microsoft 365
    • Cloud IT Infrastructure Azure experience
    • Technical expertise in supporting Windows OS
    • Strong understanding of server and desktop systems
    • Enthusiastic, flexible work approach.
    • Solutions-driven with excellent customer-facing skills
    • Infrastructure support, on-premise and cloud.
    • Advanced knowledge of core infrastructure technologies.
    • Microsoft server technologies experience
    • Ability to meet tight deadlines.

    Required skills:

    • Microsoft 365
    • Networking protocols, and TCP/IP fundamentals
    • Windows Server, Windows 11
    • Active Directory
    • Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS)
    • Experience in administering Microsoft Azure.
    • Automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python)
