Operating since 1987, ACS (Analytical Construction Services) offers quality material testing and consultancy services predominantly aimed at the building, construction and civil engineering industries.

Over the past 35 years, ACS have steadily expanded and developed, now providing a comprehensive range of UKAS accredited sampling, site testing and laboratory testing.

The Position:

Following a period of substantial growth and an increase in customer demand, ACS are currently looking for an administrator to join our current team.

The successful applicant would gain technical knowledge from the business, potentially enabling them to progress into other positions within ACS.

Please note that this position may require Saturday morning working on occasion.

As an Administrator you will be responsible for:

Ensuring the day-to-day sample registration and related activities are completed to the appropriate standard
Monitoring ongoing jobs as they progress through the laboratory and ensure results are completed in a timely manner
Reporting test results to clients
Liaising with other ACS staff
Acting as a first port of call for clients and respond to their enquiries
Carrying out general office and admin duties as directed by the Technical Supervisors
Supporting the Laboratory Manager and Technical Supervisors

Job Requirements:

Excellent telephone manner and written communication
Previous experience in a similar administrative role
Knowledge of a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) is advantageous but not essential

Salary:
£22,500.00-£24,000.00 per year
