    Description

    Fire Glass UK is one of the UK's leading manufacturers, suppliers, and glaziers of Full-time fire and acoustic glass, and is looking to appoint a Production & Transport Manager for their Bristol branch. The Transport & Production Manager oversees the day-to-day operations and customer deliveries.

    Responsibilities

    The role requires good organisation skills and head for figures. The Transport & Production Manager also need to be able to work with people at all levels and meet tight deadlines, and will act as first point of contact for both production & transport staff and for customer queries.

    The right candidate is able to plan, organise and control production of a workforce of up to 20 staff, ensuring that goods are produced efficiently, on time, within budget and to an expected quality standard.

    This role also includes the planning and coordination of the Branch's transport fleet and staff in terms of distribution and delivery transport operations, including routes and schedules for his/her Branch.

    In addition the successful candidate will also ensure team compliance with the company's policies and procedures as set out within the Employee Handbook, Accreditations Manual (including Best Practice Quality Guide) and the Health and Safety Manual, as updated from time to time.
