WRK digital aredelighted to be shortlisting for experienced Contract EDIConsultants to join an enterprise technology team.
The contract isan initial 6 month engagement with a strong chance of renewal andis remote first with occasional time onsite at a Leeds, WestYorkshire HQ.
The main responsibilities forthe EDI Consultant are to manage the technical aspects of clientand carrier on boarding, including platform configuration,integration through EDI/API and quality testing as the team movefrom a legacy on premise EDI solution (Gentran) to IBM cloud basedEDI service (SCBN).
Essential Criteria:
*Experience of IBM Sterling Gentran (IBM iSeries)
*Experience in supporting and maintaining EDI systems
oThe transition of EDI systems to next-generation environments(cloud based)
o Implementing and monitoring EDI systems,including data mapping, translation, and interfaces
oDevelops, maintains, and tests EDI maps, related interfaces, anddata communications scripts
o ANSI X12standards
*Methodical, analytical, and conscientious approach, particularlyregarding customer service.
Desirable Criteria:
*Distribution & Supply Chain background
*Familiarity with IBM i-based (AS400) ERP systems
