    Key responsibilities

    This is an exciting role that managess a unique student-led wellbeing service at KCLSU. Success in this fixed term role includes:

    1. Embedding student-led wellbeing initiatives across KCLSU in alignment with our new organisational strategy.

    2. Scoping a sustainable model of growth which is underpinned by justice, equity, diversity and inclusion.

    3. Building excellent partnerships across King's and KCLSU to raise the service's profile and build collaborative working models.

    4. Establishing KCLSU Wellbeing as the central student peer support service for King's and KCLSU.

    This role is only open for current KCL and KCLSU staff.

    This role is employed by KCLSU and works across KCLSU's Advice and Wellbeing team while being part of the wider King's College, London (KCL) Student Outcomes Team, which sits within the Student Success Department. This role will strategically develop and embed positive wellbeing to enable students to have the tools to support themselves and each other to thrive, in line with King's Vision 2029 Education Strategy to support positive wellbeing as a fundamental ethos of the university and KCLSU's vision that every student has the opportunity to belong and thrive at King's. The post holder will work across KCLSU and KCL to ensure students are empowered to build a community of good wellbeing where they feel able to support themselves and others to thrive at King's through inclusive, co-created resources and activities and consistent, high quality peer support throughout the student journey. The role will report directly to the Head of Advice and Wellbeing and deputise for them in their absence.
