#Senior SHES Advisor - Water - Birmingham
Would you like to join one of the UK's Best Big Companies as awarded by Best Companies? Due to continued growth and project wins we are recruiting for a Senior SHES Advisor who will join the Infrastructure Health and Safety team based out of Birmingham.
The Senior SHES Advisor will lead the SHES team and assist SHES Management in the implementation of Group SHES Management Systems and provide SHES advice and support to employees.

Carry out regular assurance activities of sites and work places to determine whether work is being carried out in accordance with Company Policy, Procedures and the relevant Statutory Provisions and as planned.
Lead and participate in accident/incident investigations in accordance with the Company procedure and, analysing all data, making recommendations to avoid any reoccurrences.
Collate & review Business / Contract SHES statistics in a timely manner and submit to the SHES Management & SHES function for reporting purposes.
Review SHES plans and ensure that they cover sufficient identification of risks and mitigation, procedures and associated documentation and check compliance.
Identify significant SHES issues for contracts / yards and help set-up contracts / yards to include appropriate controls.Maintain records as necessary to ensure compliance with Legislation, Company procedures and Contract Requirements.
Carry out site inductions and other training as required.
Support the Operational Unit / SHES Management in the delivery of the Audit Programme.
Working knowledge of either water or civil engineering interfaces and practices, ideally have worked on large scale water/ civil projects.
