We are currently recruiting for Finance Analysts to join a major Law Enforcement organisation for a 12-month contract based in Kilburn offering a hybrid working arrangement.

The Finance Analyst role will support the Deputy Finance Business Partner under the Director of Commercial & Finance portfolio.

The post will work alongside colleagues in Strategic & Corporate Finance, Strategic Procurement and Shared Support Services. Within the Directorate the post will work alongside colleagues in Strategic and Corporate Finance, and Commercial and Property. Regularinteraction with the provider of transactional services will be essential. Regular liaison with Business Groups is an important part of this role.

The Finance Analyst is tasked with supporting the Strategic Finance Business Partner and the Deputy Finance Business Partner in ensuring that the organisation achieves value for money and maximises value from the services it delivers while meeting the needsof the Business.

This will be achieved by helping provide insight and support mainly at an operational level, highlighting potential risks/opportunities and identifying options to drive continuous cost reductions and performance.

Experience

Experience of advising and guiding business decisions and frameworks in order to support assurance on compliance, risk management and governance arrangements.
Experience in:
Business Analytics and associated techniques
Investment Appraisal
Financial Management & Planning in complex organisation
Budgeting & Forecasting
Management Reporting
Providing Financial Management Advice and developing Mitigating Strategies

Experience/knowledge in:

Assessing the commercial impact of alternative service delivery models
Public sector procurement and contract management Professional/external qualifications Essential: CCAB or equivalent part/full membership

These opportunities are offering day rate of £350-£500, Umbrella within IR35
