We are seeking a well-qualified, enthusiastic Head of Sports Performance to oversee individual sporting profiles of our pupils, leading the School's Aspiring Athlete Support Programme, overseeing individual team strength and conditioning programmes and promoting performance and participation levels across the wide range of sporting activities at the School. The ideal candidate will have a Level 2 coaching qualification, be a competent umpire and have experience of coaching good School/Club level players.
Wycombe Abbey enjoys exceptional sporting facilities including a 6 lane 25m swimming pool, a state-of-the-art sports centre, 5 lacrosse pitches, a large floodlit Astroturf pitch, 18 netball hard courts and 24 tennis hard courts. This is a great opportunity to join a friendly team of teachers at a well-established boarding school.
Wycombe Abbey is located on a beautiful site in the centre of High Wycombe. Wycombe Abbey has its own salary scale which compares favourably with other independent schools and is well above that of the maintained sector.
