Barker Associates is an award winning multi-disciplinary property consultancy offering Architecture, Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering and Building Surveying services to a wide variety of clients in the UK.

Due to our continued success and growing business demands we currently have a vacancy for a Senior Architect within our growing architectural team that is delivering an exciting and diverse portfolio of projects throughout the UK and we have an immediateneed for highly motivated and technically proficient architectural staff to work on projects at all RIBA stages.

We are looking for a highly proactive Senior Architect showing excellent skills and aptitude across all RIBA job stages and project tasks including design, technical and project management duties.

We operate within a dynamic and collaborative 'multi-disciplinary' studio environment where Engineers and Architect's develop fully considered, and coordinated design proposals using both traditional media and the latest digital / BIM software.

Applicants are required to submit a full curriculum vitae and sample portfolio to demonstrate their strengths in each of the following essential knowledge areas:

Innovative design and analytical skills
Excellent graphic abilities to achieve a high level of legibility of design proposals
Robust technical detailing
A high level of proficiency with AutoCAD and / or Revit or similar CAD and BIM software
Comprehensive working knowledge of UK Building Regulations and planning processes

You will be able to demonstrate:

Excellent 'face to face' communication skills for representing the Practice in client facing environments
A collaborative approach to achieving project and practice objectives
Commitment to meeting project deadlines and Practice standards
You will have a full, clean UK driving licence
Potential to lead a small architectural team
A high level of proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite.
A high level of proficiency with BIM / Revit.

Salary:
£44,000 - £64,000 per annum, dependent on experience.

Hours:
Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5pm

Holiday: 25 days + bank holidays

WFH Policy:
Applicable post probation
