    Description

    The main duty of the Installation Landing Coordinator is to manage and execute the preparatory works necessary to perform the cable shore landing of the Projects, therefore mainly the shore preparation works and cable landings.


    • Must manage the interface between the Project Engineering from Marine Operations team and the subcontractors.
    • To reach this target the Vessel Coordinator has to coordinate the various functions of the installation department and be active part during the actual project execution works.
    • Reports directly to the Offshore Operations General Management
    Including execution of all the necessary constructions works to perform the cable installation works


    • Tasks are conducted in coordination with other colleagues of Installation Department and with other functions such as Project Management, Quality, purchasing with the aim of supporting the execution of the submarine systems projects awarded.
    • Interface with Project Engineering team, making sure that procedures are in place, operational sites are prepared accordingly, and cable landings are performed according to procedure and with high level of quality.
    • Cover technical responsibility in the subcontractor's management in terms of technical aspects and planning.
    • Interact with Vessels deployed on projects, Project Team and Clients, mainly on technical, planning, operative aspects, in daily conference telecommunications or direct meetings.
    • Be the primary contact to Offshore Operations General Manager for all Project matters raised in field and act as an escalation point for all operative needs and issues: ensuring these are resolved in an appropriate and timely manner to meet agreed Contractual/Planning expectations
    • Be responsible that the Construction is completed on time and according to safety and quality requirements. Verify compliance with project and contractual documents, and ensure that all contractual obligations are fulfilled in time from Mob phase of vessels to the scope completion
    • Study, propose and implement innovative solutions (procedures, vessels, equipment) for Installation phases
    • Preferred to have a Bachelor's and Master's Degrees.
