The Governors, staff and children of this good school are looking to appoint an experienced and outstanding teacher who shares our passion for excellent Early Years provision and holds high aspirations for all. We are looking for an EYFS Unit Leader and teacher that is dynamic and highly motivated as we further develop our educational provision to raise aspirations and continue with a love of learning for all.
This is an excellent opportunity to lead the unit and work collaboratively within our friendly and supportive team from September 2024.
Higher Failsworth is a larger than average school with 450 children (with 13 currently on EHC plans and approx. 50 staff). It is a large building with many original features (it is 109 years old) which has been adapted so that space is used creatively. Higher Failsworth is within the borough of Oldham but its location means it is ideally suited to candidates living in the Greater Manchester area, being very close to Manchester city centre, motorway networks (school is 5 minutes from M60), bus routes and a Metrolink station.
