There is up to $20,000 in provincial recruitment incentives for hard-to-recruit Registered Nurse positions

We are actively recruiting Registered Nurses (RN) to join our team in New Brunswick.

We are so serious about hiring you, that we're offering up to $20,000 in recruitment incentives and relocation allowances.

Whether you are a perioperative nurse, critical care nurse, psychiatric nurse, geriatric nurse, pediatric nurse, oncology nurse or other specialty, we can find a good fit for you.

There are full-time, part-time, and casual opportunities in acute and community settings such as regional and community hospitals, community health centres, clinics, Public Health, and addiction and mental health services.

RNs are critical in Horizon's ability to provide exceptional care. With a team of over 4,000 RNs, you will work directly with physicians and other health care professionals to assess patients, create care plans, provide treatment, and monitor patient recovery and progress. You will contribute to the overall wellbeing and quality of life of our communities in New Brunswick.

Registered Nurse Incentives

If you are a Registered Nurse (RN) and are interested in working in New Brunswick for Horizon, you may be eligible to receive up to $20,000 in incentives

Who is Eligible: Registered Nurses (RNs) and Graduate Nurses (GNs) who accept a permanent hard-to-recruit position (full-time or part-time) and who sign a Return-of-Service agreement.

Provincial Incentive Program* of up to $10,000

All newly hired employees who accept a hard-to-recruit full / part- time position will receive an incentive of up to $10,000.
The amount of the incentive and return of service is pro-rated for part-time positions.

Horizon Relocation Support of up to $5,000

Up to $1,500 for relocating within New Brunswick.
Up to $3,000 for relocating from the other Atlantic Provinces or Quebec.
Up to $5,000 for relocating from Ontario, Western Canada and other countries.

Horizon Rural Incentive* of $5,000

This amount does not vary.
It is applicable to permanent positions in the rural communities of St. Stephen, Grand Manan, Perth-Andover, Miramichi, Oromocto, Sussex, Waterville, and Sackville.

*Note: Horizon incentives are taxable. Canada Revenue Agency rules apply to incentive payments.

Plus, if you are an RN and you qualify, you could also receive up to $20,000 in Canada Student Loan forgiveness over a maximum of five years ($4,000 per year) Apply for Canada Student Loan Forgiveness here .

Horizon has over 1,400 Licensed Practical Nurses working throughout its four health regions in New Brunswick.

You have a current registration with the Nurses Association of New Brunswick (NANB) or able to obtain upon hire.
