    Care Coordinator

    Location: Saffron Walden

    Salary: £24,000

    Status: Full-time, permanent

    Start date: As soon as feasible

    Our specialized Brain Injury case management practice is seeking a Care Coordinator to assist in recruitment and compliance tasks. Reporting to the Senior Care Coordinator, you will be in charge of grasping our patients' care requirements, promoting and interviewing potential caregiver candidates, supervising the induction and adherence of new recruits, as well as scheduling and monitoring training sessions and relevant clinical registrations. This is an opportunity to be part of a tight-knit team in a dynamic and rewarding position.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Conduct an efficient and punctual recruitment process for hiring new support personnel for our patients
    • Collaborate with Case Managers to craft and revise job descriptions, taking into consideration individual patients' specific needs.
    • Cooperate with Case Managers to devise selection standards, conduct interviews, and manage screening calls from suitable applicants
    • Supervise the Recruitment inbox and address inquiries promptly
    • Create employment offers and contracts, distribute them to successful candidates, and oversee their onboarding process
    • Oversee background checks (DBS), handle certifications, and other pertinent documentation
    • Coordinate orientations and training sessions
    • Monitor compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies, escalating issues to the Registered Manager
    • Carry out various administrative tasks to aid in the diverse compliance and regulatory functions across the organization

    This role is ideal for an eager, supremely organized, and conscientious individual, preferably with a background in the care industry.

    Essential Skills/Experience

    • Previous experience in the care field
    • Familiarity with health and social care recruitment prerequisites
    • Knowledge of procedures in the health and social care domain, including staff training and supervision
    • Capacity to work autonomously and collaboratively
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, encompassing in-person, telephonic, and virtual interactions
    • Office management experience along with proficient IT skills

    Desirable Skills/Experience

    • Understanding of CQC registration criteria for health and social care providers
