Our client was established in 2005 to support individuals with learning disabilities, autism, complex needs including Prader-Willi Syndrome.
We are working with them to recruit a Head of Quality Assurance to lead, support and inspire the team to provide the organization with timely and robust oversight and insight on the quality-of-service provision across all services.
As someone who prioritisesour people and the quality of the services we provide, we are looking for individual who will act as a role model to promote the organisation's visions and values at all times.
Responsibilities include
- To continually develop the Quality Assurance Framework aligned with latest regulatory guidance and legislation
- To lead, develop and manage the quality auditors and quality checkers ensuring they are knowledgeable and familiar with regulations
- To work closely with operational teams to ensure appropriate responses in relation to intelligence and risk
- To manage and develop the risk profile process
- To lead on all regulatory registration activity (CQC, CIW and CIS) and support operations in their decision making on regulatory registration and inspection matters
- To provide the organisation with information to promote 100% compliance across all services
The Head of Quality Assurance will
- Be educated to Degree Level or equivalent, preferably holding a recognised qualification in social work, nursing or social care
- Have knowledge of Quality Assurance systems/processes and audit tools
- Have an understanding of all regulatory requirements across England, Wales and Scotland
- Demonstrate an ability to translate theory into practice in a personcentred way
- Ability to manage and develop comprehensive reporting systems and analysis of information
- Have excellent communication skills verbal and written with strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Have a flexible approach to workload within the team and managing their own time
- Be able to work across boundaries to support best practice
- Be willing and able to travel and visit services 23 days per week
- Have an ability to understand risk, impact and recommend remedial action
We're looking for the following experience
- 2 years' experience at management level in health and social care
- Experience of working in quality assurance is preferable.
- Experience of caring for people with learning disabilities.
