    A rare vacancy has arisen for an experienced Data Protection Lead with Cyber security experience to join a highly regarded law firn based in the Heart of Manchester City Centre. As a Data Protection Lead you will be working as part of the firms Risk & Compliance team as well as working with the IT department, supporting the Cyber team in particular

    • Data protection experience is essential for this role**
    Hybrid working available 4 Days in the office and 1 day from home/ppSalary Competitive depending on experience/ppLocation Manchester City Centre/ppstrongDuties Include: /strong/pul liMaintaining data protection, information security and cyber security policies/liliMaintaining the firms information asset register and records of processing/liliBeing the internal expert on data protection helping the compliance analysts deal with routine queries and handling more complex queries/liliHandling data requests, such as subject access requests and erasure requests./liliWorking with the IT department, particularly the cyber team, to monitor the effectiveness of the firms information and cyber security controls/liliAssisting the Head of Risk Compliance with cyber liability insurance renewal/liliWorking with all departments to identify emerging and current risks, plus working with them to devise and implement a plan to mitigate the risks/liliReviewing commercial agreements from a data protection perspective/liliWriting and delivering, and awareness-raising of, training courses and guidance to all departments/liliResearch and technical advice on data protection and privacy law/li/ul pstrongThe Benefits:/strong/pul liAnnual promotions process open to all staff/lili25 days holiday plus office closure over Christmas and New Year/liliCompanywide sports teams and social event/liliCycle to work scheme/liliGym membership/liliSeason ticket loan/liliFree travel insurance/li/ul pstrong#INDGEM/strong/p
