    The Indirect Sourcing Lead is an integral part of the Global Supply Chain organization and will help lead the organization's indirect sourcing strategies across categories such as Sales and Marketing, IT (Hardware and Software), Telecom, Consulting, Travel, Engineering Services, Professional Services, Recruitment, Training, Office Suppliers, Contingent Labor, Fleet, Facilities Maintenance and Capital Equipment. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and executing aligned and well-integrated companywide sourcing strategies that result in delivering cost savings and process efficiencies, while maintaining a superior level of quality and ensuring on time deliveries to our business stakeholders.

    Essential Functions

    The following duties are considered essential to the job. but not limited to:

    • Reporting to the VP Global Supply Chain, this individual will b e responsible for executing and implementing effective sourcing strategies, from the initial identification of requirements, through delivery across indirect spend categories. This role is also responsible for building strong internal relationships with all internal stakeholders and partners to provide strategic direction for improved spend management, consolidation, governance, and on-going supplier management.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Spearhead, develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies in accordance with the traditional seven step sourcing process from supplier identification through contract execution and on-going supply management.
    • Deliver yearly cost savings targets and other key departmental objectives.
    • Provide regular communications as to the status of sourcing events to Supply Chain leadership.
    • Provide strategic partnership and direction to purchase all services within indirect spend categories in an efficient and economical manner following established policies and procedures.
    • Gather market and supply intelligence with the purpose of seeking out and evaluating suppliers based on price, quality, service, reliability, capabilities as well as supplier's reputation and historical spend.
    • Negotiate, renegotiate, and administer Supplier contracts with support from internal stakeholders as required.
    • Assesses near-term and long-term plans to establish that supplier priorities are balanced with business needs; consults with key stakeholders and other subject matter experts to develop alternative solutions; advises on options, risks, the total cost of ownership, and business impacts.
    • Support the evaluation and implementation of Source-to-Pay technology tools.
    • Benchmark, track, and analyze annual performance metrics and sourcing trends against budget monthly to demonstrate continuous improvement and progress against strategic objectives.
    • Monitor supplier performance to ensure high quality of services that meet and exceed contractual requirements.
    • Partner with technology leaders and key business stakeholders to develop long-term development strategies and capture business requirements.
    • Participate in strategic meetings with suppliers and business leaders to ensure the execution of defined strategies. Manages day-to-day ongoing category supplier relations and seeks outgrowth or revision opportunities within the supply base.
    • Develop and lead the execution of category sourcing strategies including development and execution of RFI's and RFP's, documents bid events through correspondence to suppliers; develops selection criteria and drives the selection of suppliers in collaboration with cross-functional teams, conducts supplier negotiations, and ongoing supplier management.
    • Actively seeks ways to streamline business processes; researches and provides information on industry category trends and best practices. Provide procurement input to maximize procurement leverage, optimize project design, and minimize project duration and cost.

    Education

    BS, BA in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Finance, or similar qualification from work experience.

    Experience

    • Enterprise-wide Indirect Sourcing 5-10 years (Preferred).
    • Experience in a fast-paced turn-around environment, leading teams through transformation is necessary.
      • Consulting experience is a plus.
    • Knowledge of best practices within indirect sourcing and overall Supply Chain.
    • Broad industry-based multiply categories Indirect sourcing experience.
    • Superior negotiations skills that result in creative and winning solutionsSAP Ariba expertise required.
    • Experience developing and maintaining company sourcing and purchasing strategy including commodity management, vendor selection and evaluation, contract management, and competitive sourcing, and on-going supplier management.
    • Strategically developed and maintained policies and structures necessary to ensure optimum supply chain for achieving company goals and objectives.
    • Has ledongoing efforts to achieve continuous improvement of the supply chain function through evaluation of modern technologies and industry best practices.
    • Self-starter, who can operate in a broad spend categories.
    • Analytically strong, execute spend analysis, analyze cost drivers, and support harmonization of specifications.
    • Extremely proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint
    • Must possess effective communication, negotiating and influencing capabilities.
    • Must be highly organized and meticulous about documentation and procedures.
    • Team builder and partner who can include divergent functions and various levels of seniority (both internal and external).

    • Led the implementation of sourcing strategies that consider strategic and operational outcomes.
    • Effectively partner with Supply Chain associates as well as other functions that will drive operational excellence and cross-enterprise harmonization.
    • Be viewed as a sought-after knowledge expert for indirect sourcing and category management.
    • Develop and execute global and aligned sourcing and procurement strategies across the enterprise that include spend analytics, category due diligence/leveraging, market assessment, sourcing strategies, source selection recommendations and supplier negotiations.
    • Monitor key spending trends, cost drivers, market factors, geographic considerations, and strategic importance of critical commodities.
    • Drive engagement by building and developing a high-performance team that consistently delivers and exceeds Supply Chain KPIs.
