    Job Title: Cover Teacher with SEN Experience

    Location: Bournemouth and Christchurch

    Salary: Dependent on Experience/£110- £120 per day

    Start Date: Immediate start possible, and September start dates



    Are you an enthusiastic and adaptable teacher seeking a rewarding role in a local school in Bournemouth or Christchurch? We're currently hiring dedicated individuals who are seeking Casual Cover Teacher work in primary schools, to offer support to a range of schools in the absence of their usual class teachers. As a Cover Teacher, you will play a role in maintaining continuity and fostering a positive learning environment for primary pupils, offering them high-quality teaching and learning despite the absence of their usual teachers.

    The schools that GSL Education collaborate with are very welcoming and supportive, with a helpful staff community. While most of the schools are mainstream, there will be classes with SEN pupils where you will be required to work alongside support staff to help make sure that pupils' needs within the class at met.

    This is an exciting opportunity for anyone who has previously been a primary class teacher who is looking for a more flexible way of teaching, where you can be more in control of the days and schools in which you work. Perhaps you are seeking a more casual work schedule after having taught in schools consistently, and now you are after a role where you get to teach without the long planning hours Although this work is flexible, permanent positions can be offered to individuals who are seeking a more permanent role in a school.

    Qualifications and Requirements:

    1. Appropriate teaching qualifications (QTS/ PGCE)
    2. Passion for creating a positive and engaging learning environment.
    3. Adaptability and flexibility to excel in various classroom settings.

    Any teachers interested in this opportunity are required to:

    • Hold a PGCE /QTS/QTLS
    • Be confident within their behaviour management skills and be able to adapt to different school's behaviour policies
    • Be prepared to cover a range of subjects

    To work with GSL Education as a Cover teacher, you should:

    • Have the right to work in the UK.
    • Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
    • Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education
