Mtrec's new client opportunity:

Mtrec recruitment have partnered with our long-standing manufacturing client based in the heart of County Durham.

The business is seeking to employ an administrator to work as part of their purchasing and logistics team and are open to all administrativebackgrounds.

They are in County Durham and are easily accessible via nearby main roads and public transport


The job you will do:


  • Placing Orders to suppliers
  • Amending orders to suppliers
  • Sending Monthly and Weekly production schedules
  • Liaising with engineering department to ensure product is of the correct specification
  • Expediting supplier orders
  • Stock adjustments
  • Raising new work orders and amending as required
  • Allocating planned works to manufacturing department
  • Use of company MRP systems
  • Completing requests for quotations
  • Generating invoices for completed works
  • Amending supplier data sheets

About you:


  • You will have relevant Sales Administrative experience, ideally within a manufacturing or engineering background.
  • You will have experience of MRP/ERP Systems
  • You will be competent using MS office software, including the use of MS Excel
  • You will be detail orientated and results focused
  • You will be available to begin new employment as soon as possible
  • You will have excellent time keeping and organisational skills
