We are looking for an innovative, self-motivated and committed professional to join our Traffic Control and Information Systems Team helping to look after almost 430 traffic signal installations and delivering capital schemes with a budget of £20m.
Primarily you will be involved with the detail design and the implementation of traffic signal junctions, pedestrian crossings, car park management signs and other Intelligent Transport Systems in order to support both the annual capital programme and developer funded schemes.
As the Senior Design Engineer, you will lead and advise the delivery of the service associated with the: - investigation, evaluation, design, consultation and specification of complex traffic signal junctions, pedestrian crossings, car park management signs and other Intelligent Transport Systems. Also, you will have responsibility to ensure that the existing traffic signal junctions and pedestrian crossings are operating safely and efficiently.
