    Description


    Alexander Steele are delighted to be working in partnership with a this market leading food manufacturer who supply the UK retailers and food service sectors.

    They are looking for a Site Technical Manager to join them at their site in Suffolk. This is a senior leadership role and you will report into the site director.


    On offer:
    Our candidate is offering an attractive salary up to £65+ benefits packageWorking Monday to Friday 9am till 5pm

    The role:
    As Site Technical Manager your primary responsibility will be to lead and inspire a team of QA professionals. With a strong focus on quality, you will guide and manage your team to enhance quality performance.

    Your main objective will be to strengthen the existing QMS and food safety systems, ensuring compliance with customer and business requirements and legislation.

    Working cross functionally, you will foster a shared commitment to upholding the highest food safety standards.

    In addition, you will contribute insights and continuous improvement solutions to the site, resolving any technical issues, analysing trends, and proposing quality enhancements.


    The Candidate:


    To have a minimum of 3 years in a similar technical or QA manager roleDegree or equivalent in Food Science or a similar science discipline would be desirableFood manufacturing experience required with a focus on food safety and qualityMust have High Care or High Risk food manufacturing experienceExcellent leadership and people management skillsExcellent communication skills to be able to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
