We are excited to collaborate with a prominent membership organization in search of their new Head of Philanthropy to oversee donor engagement. Are you enthusiastic about creating an impact and nurturing strong relationships with major donors and trusts/foundations? This role offers a fantastic opportunity to significantly grow a major donor program starting from an active pipeline.

About the Role
As the Head of Philanthropy, you will lead the formulation and execution of strategies to achieve goals, foster donor relationships, and attract new supporters. There is an opportunity for you to nurture, request contributions from, and manage your own prospects to secure funding for the charity's key priorities.
Key responsibilities entail providing recommendations to influence the strategic aims of the multi-year fundraising campaign, devising and executing the major donor engagement plan, and collaborating with senior executives to develop and oversee your major donor prospect list. Additionally, you will oversee the expansion of major donor events and engagement initiatives, conduct thorough research on potential major donors, and contribute to organization-wide planning.
About You
To excel in this position, you must possess a strong history of achieving financial objectives in fundraising or a similar outcome-driven sector. An innovative mindset, outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities, financial management skills, and event planning proficiency are also crucial.
Your success in this role will depend on implementing the major donor engagement strategy and engaging effectively with your prospect pool. Building and fortifying major donor connections through personal meetings will also be vital.
