- Develop, review, and implement health and safety policies and procedures following relevant legislation and industry best practices.
- Ensure that the company complies with all health and safety regulations and standards by conducting regular audits to identify areas for improvement.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and provide recommendations to the management team for risk mitigation. Ensure that corrective actions are implemented.
- Working together with our L&D department to provide training on Health & Safety and Fire Safety related topics.
- Deliver health and safety training to employees, subcontractors, and other stakeholders in line with changing regulations.
- Investigate and report on all accidents and incidents and implement preventive measures.
- Keep accurate records of incidents and near misses.
- Develop and implement comprehensive fire safety plans, including evacuation procedures and emergency response strategies.
- Develop and oversee emergency response plans, ensuring that all colleagues are adequately collaborate with internal teams to promote a safety culture and provide guidance and support on health and safety matters.
- Drive continuous improvement in health and safety by analysing data, identifying trends, and implementing proactive measures.
- Maintain positive relationships with regulatory authorities, stay informed about changes in legislation, and ensure the company's ongoing compliance.
