    Description

    Horizon Teachers is currently collaborating with an Ofsted highly rated Primary School in Wandsworth. They are seeking a Teaching Assistant to support their Reception class, as well as another Teaching Assistant for their year 3 class.

    You will work closely with the children on a one-to-one basis, providing additional assistance to keep them engaged during lessons and aiding the class teacher in managing their conduct. Additionally, you will offer general support to the rest of the students in the class. Conveniently located, this school has excellent transport connections from both South West London and West London.

    The position commences in May, operating on a full-time basis until July 2024, with potential extension into the following academic year. This role offers substantial fulfillment for the ideal candidate and a competitive remuneration of up to £550 per week.

    Requirements for Teaching Assistants:

    • Previous experience supporting children in a Nursery or School environment
    • Desirable experience assisting children with Special Educational Needs
    • Confidence in working one-on-one and in small groups with children
    • Ability to aid the class teacher in classroom preparation
