Salary: £26,201 - £29,112 per annum

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year


Here at Seashell, we provide care and education for children and young people (up to 25 years old) with severe, profound and complex learning difficulties and disabilities, sensory impairment and communication disorders and autism.

We have an exciting new opportunity for Information Governance Practitioner to join our growing team.


Key responsibilities

  • Daytoday support to the Information Manager to ensure compliance for Seashell's information assets
  • Support Information Management business partnering across Seashell to ensure effective Data Protection compliance across all services
  • Delivery of Information Governance and Data Protection training

Requirements:


  • Experience in a Data Protection or Privacyrelated role, preferably in a regulated industry
  • Training delivery experience
  • Understanding of Data Protection laws, regulations, and industry best practices
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability and emotional
intelligence to build relationships, identify need, and influence decisions

  • Working knowledge of the NHS Toolkit
  • Motivated to learn & the ability to manage own learning
  • Work independently and take responsibility
  • Ability to balance business needs with information security requirements and find pragmatic solutions
There is the opportunity to study for the level 4 Apprenticeship - Data Protection and Information Governance Practitioner.
