My client is looking for an Inventory and Fulfilment Manager to provide leadership and high-performance management of the Parts Supply Chain Inventory and Fulfilment Team, for UK and Ireland offices.

You will be delivering excellent inventory management,customer service and supply chain efficiencies to meet our company targets and goals.


This role is based in Cannock, hybrid (days to be confirmed), £40k upwards dependant on experience, this will be full time 37.5hrs and has great company benefits, along with progression within the role.


Job responsibilities:


  • Manage the Supply Chain, Inventory and Fulfilment team responsible for purchasing, managing and maintaining all Parts inventories to meet the company inventory turns and cash flow targets. Provide logístical and operational support to ensure emergencyparts are delivered on time in full and to the right destination and provide emergency backorder support.
Support all operations on parts information, system, processes and policy queries.

Work in a variety of Parts Projects to identify and implement continuous improvement in the supply chain from purchase to pay to increase the profitability and service deliveryof parts.

Manage the parts system business processes in DBS and PIC to ensure that company use best practice and follow company policies and procedures (30%)

  • Manage all parts supplier agreements and service level performance, maintaining relationships at senior level for all sources of supply both CAT and Non CAT brands. Source new lines to support multifleet and new business, creating new SLA's and supplieragreements (20%
  • Manage the control of surplus parts and support the Administration Team on the CAT Returns. Manage the return of all Remanufactured cores to Caterpillar and other suppliers controlling the cashflow and credits (10%)
  • Develop a high performing engaged team through inclusion and diversity, development plans, training and education at all levels from Apprentices to Management, to ensure parts supply chain attracts the talent, skills and knowledge required to be the bestin class supply chain (20%)

Education & Experience:


  • Management and Leadership experience
  • 35 years Supply Chain expertise, knowledge and experience
  • Educated to Graduate or Advanced level
  • Ordering, Inventory control and supplier management experience

CILT, CIPS or Supply Chain qualifications preferred.
