- Assemble large and small piping loops usinghand and pneumatic tools.
- Perform tests asdirected.
- Lift move and assemble pipes pumpsvalves nuts bolts and equipment within allowable company weightallowances.
- Verify product to be tested meetsTest Request specifications.
- Ensure testmeasuring devices are within calibration period and in good workingorder prior to performing a test.
- Selectproper equipment to build test setups to perform requiredtests.
- Modify product components forperformance enhancements and/or cost reductions asrequired.
- Operate machine tools such as alathe drill press and mill.
- 35 years experience.
- Must havedegree preference for mechanical or electrical field but willaccept at least 3 5 years workrelated experience in manufacturingindustry automotive HVAC plumbing or electromechanical.
- Must have mechanical skills computer skills andelectrical skills.
- Will serve as a technicianto inspect and test equipment analyze plans for construction anddesign write up daily lab reports and carry out any other necessarytasks delegated by the supervising engineer.
- Build or set up equipment conduct experiments collectdata and calculate results to solve technical problems.
- Must have a background in engineering the ability to workwell in a team and strong analytical and problemsolvingskills.
- Some technicians work in qualitycontrol where they check products do tests and collectdata.
- In manufacturing they help to design anddevelop products.
- In this role theworking environment is a general production/assembly environmentand the physical demands may include but not limited to sittingstanding reaching bending and lifting up to 25 pounds.
