    Aboutthe Role

    We are seeking anenthusiastic and experienced history teacher to lead ourdepartment. The ideal candidate will be a passionate and inspiringeducator with a proven track record of success. They will have adeep understanding of the history curriculum and a commitment toproviding students with a highqualityeducation.

    Responsibilities

    • Provideleadership and direction for the historydepartment
    • Develop and implement a rigorous andengaging history curriculum
    • Teach historylessons to KS3 KS4 and KS5 students
    • Support anddevelop other history teachers
    • Represent thehistory department at school events andmeetings

    Qualificationsand Experience

    • A degreein history
    • QTS or PGCE
    • 5years of teaching experience
    • Experience ofleading a historydepartment

    Salary

    Thesalary for this role will be commensurate withexperience.
