    Deputy Curriculum Leader for Mathematics

    MPS/UPS & TLR 2b

    Start Date - September 2024

    Are you passionate about inspiring the next generation of mathematicians?Do you possess a deep understanding and enthusiasm for the subject?Join us at Oaks Park High School, where we are excited to welcome a dedicated and passionate Deputy Curriculum Lead for Mathematics to join our team.

    We are looking for an inspiring and experienced Maths teacher who can demonstrate positive outcomes through their Maths teaching, and is looking to move into Maths leadership.The successful candidate will work alongside our dynamic Maths leadership team consisting of our Curriculum Leader for Mathematics and senior Deputy Curriculum Leader, helping them to deliver their vision of maximising achievement in Maths for all students, no matter their starting point.

    At Oaks Park High School, our students and staff work hard to ensure the best academic outcomes.Last year the percentage of students achieving Maths 9-4 and Maths 9-5 at GCSE were significantly above the national average, giving us a positive Progress 8, including for disadvantaged students.As a result, Maths is a popular A-Level choice for Sixth Form students at Oaks Park.

    In addition to our drive of delivering the best possible results for students, we have strong pastoral care strategies to best support our students and their families.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    Location: The school is centrally located in the London Borough of Redbridge. There are excellent transport links to central and outer London, with Newbury Park station (zone 4 on the Central Line) only a four minute walk away.
