    Description

    Our client is in search of a dynamic and proactive plumbing and heating engineer to join the installation and service teams during a significant growth phase. As a part of the team, you will be tasked with:

    • Installing heat pump systems in plant rooms
    • Working with HDPE pipework and carrying out fusion welding
    • Setting up associated pipework for heat pump supply, including manifold connections and distribution systems
    • Reading Mechanical schematic drawings proficiently
    • Supervising the project team on a daily basis
    • Ensuring on-site Health & Safety compliance as per company policies and regulations
    • Maintaining system quality and adherence to standards
    • Undertaking 1st and 2nd Fix tasks in domestic dwellings and plant rooms
    • Performing pipefitting for heating/cooling/hot water distribution systems
    • Carrying out both reactive and proactive maintenance on heating systems
    • Conducting basic electrical work on various components of heat pump systems
    • Commissioning and servicing heat pump systems
    • Identifying and rectifying any issues that may arise

    Key Responsibilities:

    The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, a methodical approach, and the self-discipline required to work independently as well as within a team. With an upcoming growth phase, the candidate should be eager to lead tasks and develop new processes and systems to navigate the company through the next growth stage.

    Requirements:

    • 2-5 years of professional experience in plumbing and/or pipefitting
    • NVQ level 2 or 3 Plumbing qualification or equivalent
    • Technical expertise in hydraulic systems, flow, and pressure
    • Familiarity with regulations and guidelines for hot water systems
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Highly motivated team player with a positive attitude
    • Detail-oriented and consistent, with the ability to review work for errors
    • Preferably experienced in renewable energy, infrastructure, or construction sectors

    Offerings:

    • Competitive Salary Range: £40k - £50k (experience-dependent)
    • 25 Days of Annual Leave plus public holidays
    • Monthly phone contract contribution of £30
    • Full-time permanent position

    • Additional project-based bonus structure
