    Aptuary is an Actuarial recruitment agency established by a qualified Actuary.

    The Actuarial background enables the company to establish credibility with candidates, gaining a thorough understanding of their experience and skill set, allowing to better filter and present the most suitable candidates.

    Aptuary is led by Shivam Patel, who has over 13 years experience in the Insurance industry, starting his career at a Big 4 consultancy and then continuing as an Actuarial contractor at large insurance companies.

    The top priority at Aptuary is to deliver a personalised service, by listening attentively to the client brief and delivering with a key focus on quality of candidates.

    Aptuary isworking with a London based company looking for a Pricing & Data Analyst.
    This role provides support for rate making analyses, implementation of pricing& data tools and template automation. Preparing data& templates for International rate reviews and account pricing usingAlteryx and Excel.
    Enhancingpricing tools and automating actuarial processes using Alteryx and Excel\VisualBasic for Applications.
    Collaboratingwith Underwriting on account pricing, tool development and pricing initiatives.
    Researching anddeveloping pricing benchmarks using available industry data.
    Supportingbusiness units with ad hoc data requests, analyses and pricing metrics.
    Data
    Provide input tothe development of a Data Control / Staging area for International's business.
    Participate inprojects relating to data and the provision of management information relatingto all areas of the business.
    Work with the USand preferred IT development partners in the UK to develop data solutions /warehouse.
    Takeresponsibility for the data framework across the International business.
    Work acrosswider business projects, as may be required.

    The idealcandidate should have a minimum of 2-3 years' experience working within theinsurance industry with data and some experience of pricing.

    Excel skills anda desire to become an expert in these applications
