    About the role:

    As KS2 Teacher at Silverways School, you will be an integral part of our team who put the children and young people at the heart of everything we do. You will plan, assess and deliver outstanding teaching and learning using proven methods and approaches that enable all young people to learn, whilst ensuring that pastoral needs are also met. You will establish excellent relationships with parents and carers and inspire trust and confidence in pupils, colleagues, families and other professionals.

    This role involves meeting the needs of children in an academically driven and therapeutic school . Candidates should be dedicated to nurturing confident and capable children who are well-prepared and secondary ready. If you share our passion and commitment to these goals, we would be delighted to hear from you.

    About you :

    For this position, we are seeking experienced individuals who hold QTS and can deliver a broad and balanced national curriculum. We are keen to hear from teachers who have experience working with children with SEND and autism however, due to the supportive culture at Silverways School, this post may also be suitable for mainstream teachers. Additionally, experience of delivering phonics would be an advantage.

    The ideal candidate should demonstrate a proven ability to deliver high-quality and effective teaching, engaging and motivating children throughout their education. They should have a genuine passion for supporting students in their learning and development and a strong commitment to making a positive impact on their lives and education.

    Silverways School, part of Kedleston Group, is an independent specialist day school in Enfield , London , for children and young people aged between the ages of 7 and 16. We support children and young people with autism . Our focus is on maximising every child's potential to develop into a confident, resilient, and skilled young person who will make a positive contribution to society and live as independent a life as possible.
