Description
This is 12 months fixed term/secondment opportunity.The health improvement manager for the QUIT team is central to ensuring the trust delivers services that address health inequalities, specifically the QUIT stop smoking service.
This is an opportunity to shape the way we deliver healthcare across Barnsley.We have had a significant investment in building the team and are looking for an individual who can support with leading the QUIT team to fully capture the benefits of this expansion.
Leading or working within the public health agenda.Lead the delivery of the service transformation plan.
Proactively support culture change and the promotion of a smoke free environment
Develop and provide training for the Trusts Tobacco Treatment Advisors, clinical and non-clinical staff throughout the Trust
Manage the interface between the hospital service and the community stop smoking service and community pharmacists
Ensure appropriate data collection to support clinical care and monitoring of the service
Contribute to the evaluation and ensure continuous quality development of the programme
