    Position Overview: Delyn Metals is currently seeking a dedicated Escort Driver to join our team on a full-time basis. The Escort Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and timely transportation of scrap metal to and from our facility, maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations and protocols.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely transport materials to and from designated locations using company vehicles.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies during transportation.
  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on company vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety standards.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and other team members to coordinate transportation schedules and routes.
  • Uphold a professional demeanor and provide exceptional customer service to clients during transportation and interactions.
  • Maintain accurate records of transportation activities, including mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance.

    • Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Previous experience in a similar driving role preferred but not required.
  • Strong understanding of traffic laws, regulations, and safety protocols.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work occasional weekends or overtime hours as needed.
