- Contribute to the development of the control systems for our SIL, HIL and car systems.
- Development of advance data analysis techniques and tools to optimise control system performance and reliability.
- Support control system calibration activities on HIL, rigs and dynos.
- Resolution of control system faults.
- Educated to degree level in a software or engineering subject.
- Experience with model-based software design in a Matlab Simulink environment.
- Experience with the development of electro-hydraulic control systems.
- Experience of data analysis techniques with at least one of the following languages: Python, R or Matlab.
- Experience with motorsport data logging systems, preferably F1 SECU and associated tools.
- Experience with automotive electronic systems, CAN and sensing technologies.
- Ability to plan and manage own workloads.
- Clear and concise communication, verbally and with the use of email.
- Is self-motivated, innovative and capable of working generally unsupervised to challenging deadlines.
- Strong levels of IT skills including MS Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Positively contribute to an open and inclusive culture.

The global racing enterprise boasts over 250 race wins, four INDYCAR Series championships, five INDY NXT titles, one Indy Pro 2000 and one USF2000 championship, and has captured victory five times at the famed Indianapolis 500-Mile Race. The team is now looking to expand into the pinnacle of motorsport through our Andretti Cadillac Team.
Job description:
We have an opportunity for a Control Systems Development Engineer to join the Andretti Cadillac Team at the new Silverstone Facility. In this role you will work within the Control Systems group and be responsible for the development of the on-car control systems and their supporting tools.
