    Description

    CSL Vifor is a top pharmaceutical company focusing on Nephrology, Iron Deficiency, and Cardio-Renal therapies. Currently, we are looking to hire a Head of Field Medical Affairs UK to join our medical affairs leadership team in the UK. Reporting to the UK Medical Director, you will lead a team of Field Based Medical Advisors throughout the UK, covering the entire CSL Vifor product portfolio, including upcoming assets slated for launch beyond 2024.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Ensure high performance and leadership within the field-based medical team
    • Promote a strong compliance culture and ensure timely ABPI review and certifications
    • Demonstrate knowledge and expertise in therapy areas and products through engagement with Key Opinion Leaders
    • Build strong relationships with KOLs and facilitate medical collaboration
    • Align with Global Medical Affairs to meet defined quantitative and qualitative metrics
    • Support clinical trials and Investigator Initiated Studies
    • Collaborate cross-functionally to achieve corporate objectives

    Main Duties:

    • Lead, coach, and manage the field medical affairs team
    • Ensure alignment of knowledge and skills of field medical advisors
    • Set and measure the performance of field medical teams
    • Represent Medical Affairs externally to establish and maintain relationships with KOLs and HCPs
    • Execute country medical plans and provide disease state education
    • Act as final signatory for all medical and commercial activities
    • Share insights with global medical teams and provide training internally

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Registered medical doctor or pharmacist
    • ABPI final signatory
    • Experience in KOL and HCP engagement
    • Strong communication skills
    • Public scientific presentation experience
    • Ability for up to 30% overnight travel

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Medical Education (MD) with clinical experience
    • Experience in Nephrology, cardiology, or transplant
    • 5 years in the pharma industry
    • 3 years in Medical affairs Management
    • Strong track record in KOL engagement and clinical research
    • Experience in literature review and analysis
