    3rd/Third Infrastructure Engineer

    Once a month in Kettering

    Up to £55,000

    Digitech are partnered exclusively with a fast-growing and innovative MSP. They have employed over 60 people within the technical team in the past 3 years and have no signs of slowing down.

    After a successful 2023, they are seeking a Senior Support Engineer to work alongside the Technical Services Manager.

    You'll be involved in majority project work, working with cutting-edge technologies. You'll be a key player in their Managed Services team and will help support customers environments, fixing escalated issues as well as playing a leading role in developing custom environments and delivering project works.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide assistance to multiple clients across Public and Private sectors.
    • Handle maintenance, troubleshooting, and support for Microsoft software like Windows, Active Directory, and SQL solutions.
    • Address support, maintenance, and troubleshooting needs for VMWare, HyperV, and similar virtualization solutions.
    • Handle support for Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop solutions.
    • Define and implement secure configurations across various platforms.
    • Manage and execute low-impact project tasks related to Managed Service clients, aligning skills and knowledge accordingly.
    • Serve as a mentor to the 1st and 2nd line teams, aiding in their growth and development.

    Requirements:

    • Experience in providing in-depth Infrastructure support (3rd line) to a growing client base.
    • Project work (migrations etc) not just BAU/Support.
    • Supporting on premises and cloud hosted solutions - specifically Azure virtualisation.
    • VMware - Hyper V, vSphere, ESXi clustering etc.
    • Some networking.
    • Ideally from an MSP.
