    Safran Landing Systems is the world leader in aircraft landing and braking systems and is at the forefront of contributing to safer, more sustainable aviation for current and future generations.

    We design, test, manufacture and assemble landing gear used on commercial aircraft including Airbus and Boeing, and UK military aircraft such as the Eurofighter Typhoon.

    Gloucester is home to the UK division and has been a leader of cutting edge landing gear technology for over 90 years, since the innovative designs of Sir George Dowty.

    You will be part of a diverse multi skilled process and assemble maintenance team, working on equipment used in surface finish, heat treatment, Non Destructive Testing (NDT), paint & OE Assembly by an international leading company.

    This role involves being responsible for the safe up keep and reliability of production assets used in the manufacturing of aircraft parts.

    Carrying out reactive and preventative maintenance.
    Interoperation of engineering drawings to fault find & identify spare parts required.
    Operate within all HS&E standards and Policies.


    Mandatory:
    Must be able to read mechanical drawings including assembly and schematics.

    Fabrication and fitting skills (Core bench-fitting skills necessary).Experience using a CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management System).Be able to work safely and adhere to HS&E standards and policies.


    Preferred:
    Time served engineering maintenance apprenticeship (NVQ Level 3)

    Suitable experience working with furnaces, NDT equipment or surface finish equipmentElectrical experience/qualification.
    HNC in mechanical engineering.
    Hybrid/Flexible working hours with an early finish on a Friday (4.
