    The financial servicesaudit department works internationally toprovide seamless, cross-border services to our clients.

    JobPurpose

    As an FSAudit Director , you will support the Senior Management teamincluding Partners to develop and build the audit team and clientoffering. You will work closely with clients and be committed toproviding an exceptional audit service.

    Role &Responsibilities

    • Assisting and advising the client service management teamon the formulation of audit strategy and planning.
    • Technical expert for audit assignments, providing adviceto audit team and client.
    • Leading an auditteam, ensuring the team complete in a timely manner withinbudget.
    • Managing audit assignments fromplanning through to finalisation of reports in line with agreedtimescales.
    • Controlling time spent andmonitoring actual time within budget.
    • Peoplemanagement – coaching, feedback, performance management, trainingand development, engaging high performing teams.
    • Maintains control and stability under pressure whilstrecognising the deadline or urgency.
    • Ensurestandards and procedures maintained by whole team.
    • Drafts the audit opinion summary for the Partner and anyother reporting documents, including group reporting and auditcommittee papers.
    • Ensuring clients are billedaccording to agreed billing plans.
    • Identifyingand capitalising on opportunities and prospects for newwork.
    • Business development, including workingwith colleagues in other teams.
    • Acts as apoint of contact for both senior management and client.
    • Building strong working relationships withclients.
    • Show vision and strategicperspective.
    • Delivering confident and clearpresentations of service features and benefits toclients.
    • Ensures audit services provided aregenuinely appropriate for the client.
    • Assessesand produces high quality work in line with the Firm's policy andprocesses, meeting relevant regulatory requirements.

    Skills, Knowledge andExperience

    • ACA / CA /ACCA (or equivalent) qualification.
    • Holdssignificant experience of leading external audits managing aportfolio of clients and leading audit teams.
    • Prior experience of working at Senior Manager.
    • Client relationship management experience.
    • Relevant insurance sector auditexperience.
    • Up to date technical knowledge ofUK GAAP / FRS102 and IFRS.
    • Experience ofmanaging, training and coaching an audit team.
    • Experience of using audit software and Microsoftpackages.
