    Senior Sales Specialist, Automotive Financial Markets - London, United Kingdom - S&P Global, Inc.

    The Role: This experienced sales position is responsible for driving revenue growth through the sales of automotive products and services in the EMEA Financial Markets, with key assigned territories. This includes maintaining and growing existing accounts, developing a pipeline of new business, and driving overall revenue growth.

    Primary Responsibilities

    Account Planning

    • Develop integrated and comprehensive account plans & strategies across products and accounts for the EMEA Financial Markets
    • Understand and build relationships with key influencers within the territory
    • Actively contribute to the establishment of monthly forecasts
    • Provide an accurate view of territory development, using Salesforce as the primary tool for client interaction tracking and pipeline reporting

    Consultative Selling

    • Possess deep understanding of Automotive product portfolio
    • Significant amount of face-to-face customer interaction
    • Prepare and communicate pricing, proposals, negotiate the terms and conditions of the Sale
    • Managing opportunities through the pipeline, from Opportunity Qualification through Sales Closure

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, or business field with at least seven years business-to-business direct consultative selling experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Strong knowledge and experience selling into EMEA Financial Markets
    • Business to business experience essential
    • Ability to work independently and be a self-starter; able to operate in a less/unstructured role and manage own day-to-day activities
    • Demonstrated ability to develop client relationships
    • Proven negotiation, communication, customer service and presentation skills
    • Ability to anticipate and handle difficult customer situations
    • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
    • Proficiency in SalesForce
    • Proven track record in achieving sales targets, acquiring new business, selling broad-based solutions; proficiency in solution selling techniques
    • Ability to pitch complex and technical data products in a simple and succinct manner, which is easily understood and grasped by the receiving party

    • Frequent travel to customer sites and/or trade shows.
