    About The Role

    HomeServe are currently recruiting for Water Supply Pipe Engineers
    • Location – Torquay or within a 20 minute drive of a TQ postcode
    • Full Time - 40 hours a week – including some evening, weekend and bank holiday work
    • Salary - Between £28,334 - £35,629 depending upon experience and a £3,000 signing on bonus
    As part of your role at HomeServe you will be attending customer's properties, identifying leaks on the water supply pipes, excavating ground to fix pipes and making the ground good once complete.

    If you have experience as a labourer, are hardworking and keen to learn we are interested in hearing from you Due to the role you must be comfortable working outdoor in all-weather types.

    A little more about the role:

    As a Water Supply Pipe Engineer you will represent the HomeServe brand and undertake the maintenance and repair work of mains water pipes in private domestic properties. You will provide industry leading service aligned with our customer and people promises, to help us enhance our reputation and drive customer growth.

    About The Candidate

    What you'll have
    • Experience of working as a labourer in all-weather types
    • Must hold a full UK driving license, with 6 or less penalty points.
    • Must be able to approach and resolve problems logically
    • Can demonstrate commitment and enthusiasm for the task in hand
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • It would also be great if you have previous experience in the maintenance of water supply pipes
    • Ideally WIAPS and CCNSG or NVQ Level 2 - but not essential.
    • Experience of working in an FCA Regulated environment

    Training & Support

    To help you settle in to your career with HomeServe, you will undertake our extensive training programme.
    • Week 1 will be Monday to Friday 09:00-17:00 in our award winning training facility, covering all things HomeServe, Health and Safety, tools and equipment
    • Week 2-3 you will be buddied up with an experienced HomeServe Water Mains Technician
    • Week 4 will be 3 days in Nottingham for additional training and support
    • Where geographically appropriate we will pay for your accommodation
