    Tempting Recruitment are working alongside our client within the Banking Sector, who are looking to recruit an experienced Vice President, European Financial Controller to join their team based in London.


    WORK TYPE:
    Permanent
    Full Time

    The finance department will advance in its evolution to better serve our business teams with the help of this function.

    Maintains the integrity and correctness of the financial records for the supported Region/BU and is primarily in charge of making sure the business complies with corporate and external accounting regulations.

    provides accounting and regulatory guidance; and directs financial choices relating to company transactions, including acquisitions and investments.
    Gives advice on new and extremely complicated topics and creates technical accounting memoranda in response. consults Corporate Accounting when necessary

    Creates, monitors, and enforces operational and SOX controls in accordance with business policies and general governance requirements to guarantee a robust control environment.

    A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a similar field.
    Strong background in financial procedures and accounting controls at a worldwide company
    Strong understanding of general accounting, including local and US GAAP
    Strong understanding of Sarbanes Oxley and internal controls Expertise in accounting and finance systems and software
